AMP Services was engaged by Aviation Charters, a premier private aviation company offering on-demand charter flights for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. The client’s core business relies on high-ticket sales that are often initiated by direct inquiries. While they had an established brand, their digital lead funnel was underperforming, and they were not effectively capturing high-intent traffic from search engines. The primary challenge was to generate a consistent volume of qualified leads and phone calls from new clients without diluting the brand’s luxury positioning. We aimed to build a digital presence that not only drives immediate conversions but also reinforces the company’s reputation for luxury and reliability in a highly competitive market.

Objective

Establish a highly efficient and profitable lead generation pipeline. This was broken down into two key, measurable goals:

  1. Increase Qualified Phone Calls: Increase phone call conversion rate to average 1 quality phone call lead-per-day, every day of the year.

  2. Improve Lead Quality: Increase website traffic year-over-year by over 1500%.

Execution

To achieve these objectives, AMP Services developed a multi-pronged Google Ads strategy with a strong focus on direct-response conversion. The execution involved the following key steps:

  • Campaign Structure & Keyword Strategy: We created a segmented campaign structure that targeted users at different stages of the buying cycle. This included a dedicated “Call-Only” campaign for mobile users searching for immediate quotes (“private jet charter cost,” “book private flight”) and a standard “Search” campaign targeting high-intent long-tail keyword

    • We also implemented a robust negative keyword list to filter out low-value traffic (e.g., “free,” “jobs,” “simulator”).

  • Compelling Ad Copy & Extensions: Ad copy was meticulously crafted to reflect the brand’s luxury and professionalism, using compelling headlines like “Your Time Is Our Priority” and “Experience Unparalleled Luxury.” We utilized every relevant ad extension, with a strong emphasis on Call Extensions to prominently display the business phone number. Sitelink Extensions were used to link directly to pages for specific aircraft types, popular routes, and the “Request a Quote” form.

  • Advanced Conversion Tracking: To accurately measure success, we implemented advanced conversion tracking. This included tracking every phone call from a call-only ad or a call extension, as well as form submissions on the website’s request-a-quote page. We also configured custom conversions to track call duration, ensuring that only calls lasting longer than a predetermined threshold were counted as “qualified leads,” which informed our bidding strategy.

  • Bidding & Optimization: We began with a Target CPA bidding strategy, allowing Google’s algorithms to find the most cost-effective way to generate conversions based on our defined goals. We continuously monitored campaign performance, adjusting bids based on device (prioritizing mobile for call campaigns), time of day, and location to maximize ROI. Ongoing A/B testing was conducted on ad copy and landing pages to ensure we were always using the highest-converting assets.

Our PPC campaigns have become a primary driver of growth, generating nearly ~80% of all inbound leads for the business. By strategically targeting high-intent search terms, continuously optimizing ad performance, and aligning campaigns with conversion-focused strategies, we were able to turn paid search into a reliable pipeline for qualified prospects.
